Fitting instruction guide for 2 or 4 lamps using our chrome bracket systems This guide shows you how to mount 2 or 4 lamps to the front of a mini. If you already have genuine Rover brackets or certain aftermarket brackets you will not need the Chrome mounting brackets. This includes late Sportspack Minis with four or two lamps (ask about or special wiring harnesses for these cars) To
mount 2 lamp you will need: To
mount 4 lamps you will need: Fitting Chrome Mounting brackets for 2 or 4 lamps Remove the front bumper (remove number plate if difficult to access centre nut on bumper) Locate
two holes already on bumper mounting lip, remove nut from bracket
and insert crome bracket through hole on bumper mounting lip. Repeat this process for the other Chrome Mounting bracket then follow the 2 or 4 lamp fitting instructions 2
lamp fitting instructions Take
one universal mounting bracket from the Angel Spot/Fog lamp kit
and place it on top of the Chrome Mounting bracket, insert from
the top with the 'coach' type bolt, spring washer and nut. STOP
HERE IF YOU ARE FITTING 4 LAMPS AS YOU ARE FITTING A CHROME MOUNTING
BAR Repeat the process for the other lamp, wire lamps up, adjust lamps tighten all nuts and refit bumper (and number plate) 4
lamp fitting instructions Follow the 2 lamp fitting instuctions for the two outer lamps until its say STOP HERE... Now
offer the Chrome Mounting bar upto the exposed long bolt ensuring
the welded part is facing the grille and the two centre mounting
points are facing upwards Mounting

mounting points and insert from the front a 'coach' type bolt,

do I get in the kit?
A replacement headlamp that replaces your headlamp, Two sidelight bulbs
with coloured covers (not all versions e.g. 10w versions). Sidelight wiring
loom, rubber boot for the back of the headlamp.
Are
they any better than sealed beam headlamps?
Any new headlamp will be better than sealed beam headlamps.
I
have fitted a halogen conversion are they any better?
They are better as the Angel Eye has a modern crystal reflector like modern
cars?
But
I have sealed beam headlamps will they fit?
Disconnect the connector on the back of your sealed beam lamp, fit a H4
bulb to the angel eye lamp and refit the connector, simple
How
does the Halo work?
Two 5w wedge/capless bulbs are mounted in the lamp, these create the patented
halo effect. The coloured covers fit over the 5w bulbs to change the colour
of the light, so if a bulb fails you can go to your local bulb stockist
and ask for a standard bulb instead of asking for a green 5w bulb.
How
do they fit?
Remove outer chrome ring if fitted, remove old headlamp with inner chrome
ring, remove inner chrome ring and fit to new lamp. Connect two wires
from Halo to two wires for the sidelight in the headlamp bowl.
Are
they legal?
They are not E approved, technically all lamps must be E approved. You
can add a zero to the price if you wanted E approved lamps. Do you have
rear clear lenses on your car if yes then they are ILLEGAL.
So
they are not legal but can I still fit them?
The dipped beam on these lamps dips straight down so they can be fitted
to Left or Right hand drive cars, the headlamp/halo light must be white.
An MOT station may pass or fail the lamps. The police should be OK as
none of them no the law regarding the E approval numbers.

Spots have a crystal clear lens and are used when main beam is used. Fog
lamps have pattern len and are used when there is poor visibility and
can only work when the sidelights are on.

do I get in the kit?
A pair of Spot of fog lamps fitted with LED halo, universal mounting brackets,
H3 bulbs.
I
already have spot/fog lamps fitted can I just swap them over?
Yes if the
mounting lug fitted to your car has a gap of 1" or 25.4mm, this includes
Rover minis with Spot or fog lamps.
How
